More Needlebook Progress.

The red on the needlebook is now done and I’ve started in on the yellow.  No pictures of the yellow yet though.  I was originally thinking this would be for largesse but there are some things I’m not happy about on it so I may have to figure out something else to do with it.

Anyway, here are the pictures.

So, what kind of materials are you using? I'm thinking about stitching a heraldic pouch and I'm trying to figure out what to use.

  2. I'm using Monaco cloth (I think it's 28 count) and Anchor cotton floss. Neither one is particularly authentic but it was what I had on hand. From what I can find, most pouches in period were done on linen cloth with silk thread.
